Black woven Cat Mat is made using our own alpaca fiber. After shearing, the leg and belly fiber from the alpacas is sent to the mill and processed into 100% alpaca core spun yarn (rug yarn). I use this thick yarn and weave using my 18 inch square loom. I love weaving using the continuous strand method. Once woven, I wash and dry each mat to soften and make fuzzy which cats LOVE.
Each mat is one of a kind! Handwoven with love.
Finished preshrunk size is approx 16 inches.
