- Alpaca felted craft sheets measure approximately 48 x 42 inches. The many uses for these sheets are only limited by your imagination! Great for crafting any project where you need durable, thick felt - stitch, embroider, needle felt, or add other embellishments. Cut into different shapes. Add dye to make different colors of felt. Each craft sheet is so soft! Each is made with a wet felting process and are thick and durable! These are very special because you will know which of our alpacas provided the fiber used.

This natural grapevine ball is filled with our own Michigan farm raised alpaca fiber Hang outside and the birds sit on it, pull the fiber out, and take the fiber to line their nests All natural and safe for the birds unlike string, thread, or dryer lint Great gift for the bird lover and the bird watcher Refills available NOTE: no choice of fiber colors. As we "skirt" our fleeces we combine the leg and belly fibers together. This is the fiber used for "stuffing" our ornaments. Colors will vary depending on which fleeces we work with at the time. All fiber used in our bird ornaments is in it's natural state - no dyes have been added for the safety of the birds.

We decided to send these fleeces to Windy Acres Fiber Mill and have Charlotte mill spin them into this beautiful tweed yarn. The skeins are 200 yards, 2 ply, sport weight and oh so soft. 100% alpaca grown on our Michigan farm! Limited number of skeins available. Hand wash with no agitation, lay flat to dry.
