Red and White Alpaca Roving

$26.00$33.75

Our Red and White Alpaca Roving is a pin drafted roving processed at our favorite Michigan mill.  This fiber begins with the fleece of Reba.  It took a year to grow this beautiful alpaca fiber.   We normally leave the alpaca fiber in it’s natural color, but decided to make a change.   We decided to dye Reba’s fiber this beautiful red color and add in merino for elasticity and bamboo for shine.

Only 1 – 4 oz ball available

This Red and White Alpaca Roving (pin drafted) is 56% alpaca, 24% merino, and 20% bamboo

Three main factors go into growing a great spinning fleece.  We provide the best NUTRITION possible.  The alpacas’ STRESS levels are kept as low as possible.  The ENVIRONMENT is the one factor we have no control.  Each year we are hopeful that the summers do not get too hot and the winters provide enjoyable temperatures.   These factors all play an important role in the quality of the fleece each alpaca produces.
